Holiday Inn Express Canterbury By Ihg, Canterbury

The hotel had modern decorated rooms but the view of the kitchens and bins was dreadful and noisy, especially late at night. Despite having disabled facilities, the room felt cramped for four adults. The location is good for touring around Canterbury but can be a bit complicated to reach without a car. The dining options were basic and not ideal for people with food intolerances, yet the breakfast provided a good start to the day.

The hotel was very comfortable and had everything we needed for a great stay. The rooms were clean and comfortable for our group of four, and having a heater in the room was a nice touch. However, I missed having fried eggs for breakfast.

The dining experience was surprisingly good with lots of quality options, but the location was not ideal for those wanting to explore the beautiful Canterbury area fully.

While the proximity to the road may result in some traffic noise, the cozy beds make up for it. Service was exceptional, especially accommodating gluten-free and mobility needs. The hotel's location is not ideal for a peaceful evening due to its proximity to the A2, but it's practical for an overnight stop or exploring Canterbury. The dining options were satisfying with a good variety available. Overall, a comfortable stay with attentive service.
